Soviet Union to Cut Oil Exports
The Soviet Premier, Mr. Nikolai I. Ryzhkov, told the 28th Communist PartyCongress on 7 July that his government decided late last month to cut oilexports by seven million tons "in order to permit us to supply ouragriculture, otherwise fuel shortages would hurt the harvest."
