Abu Dhabi to Cut Production by 400,000 b/d
Starting in August Abu Dhabi has notified its producing companies of significant cutbacks in its output allowables, totaling some 400,000 b/d or over25%, starting next month in an effort to meet the quota allocation to be decidedupon at OPEC's 25 July Geneva conference in line with what was agreed at theJiddah meeting of Arab Gulf producers on 10 July (the new quota for the UAE as awhole is expected to be 1.5mn b/d)....
