The row between Kuwait and Iraq over oil and borders continued fast andfurious until Egyptian President Husni Mubarak stepped in and arranged for thetwo countries to discuss their differences directly rather than via the mediaand the Arab League. European Community foreign ministers have visited Israel,where they disagreed with the Israelis about the PLO, and Tunis, where theyannounced a forthcoming European initiative on the Middle East....
