Iran Reports Increase in Foreign Exchange Reserves
Iran's foreign reserves at the end of the the Iranian year 1368 (which endedon 20 March 1990) stood at $9.72bn, a 12% increase on the end of the previousyear, according to the Governor of the Central Bank, Mr. Mohammed Hossein Adeli.The governor attributed the rise to higher oil prices and the settlement of somelong-standing financial claims against the US.
