Egypt Raises Oil Prices by $5.00/B
Egypt raised the prices of its various grades of crude oil twice last week bya total of $5.00/B - $3.00/B on 24 September and another $2.00/B the followingday on 25 September. Egyptian oil prices, which have been raised five times inSeptember by a total of $13.50/B, now stand at their highest level since early1981. The recent price increases are shown in the table below (credit terms 60days):
