New Gas Strike in Risha Area
The Jordanian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Mr. Thabet al-Taher,announced on 22 September that Jordan's Natural Resources Authority (NRA) hadstruck gas in a new well (No. 20) in the Risha area, which lies in the northeastern part of the country some 150 miles east of the capital `Amman.
