Oil Production Averages 856,294 B/D in lQ 1988
Egypt's oil and gas output amounted to 12,578,000 metric tons in the firstquarter of 1988, comprising 10,889,000 tons (about 856,294 b/d) of crude oil(which is well below Egypt's self-proclaimed output ceiling of 870,000 b/d), and1,689,000 tons of gas and condensates.
