IMF Hikes 2010 Economic Growth Forecast
The economic outlook for the Middle East has improved and as a result the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has hiked its 2010 GDP forecast to 4.2% from the 3.7% it was predicting in July. But for this year the previous estimate of a 2% increase stands, said the IMF in its latest World Economic Outlook, published on 1 October.
