1Q USSR Oil Imports from Middle Eastern Countries
Soviet oil imports from Arab countries and Iran during the first quarter ofthis year increased to 5.83mn tons, a rise of 155% over the same period lastyear, according to the latest issue of Eastern Bloc Energy. Total oil imports in1987 were 16.21mn tons (MEES, 5 September).
