International Petroleum Spuds First Well in Onshore Ras al-Khaimah
International Petroleum Ltd. Bermuda, a wholly-owned subsidiary ofInternational Petroleum Corporation, has spudded the first well in its onshoreconcession in Ras al-Khaimah. The well, al-Khat-1X, which will be drilled to adepth of 6,500 ft., will take 50 days to complete and test. Sedco Dubai Ltd. isdrilling the well with its Sedco-91 rig.
