Egypt Receives Aid for Power Generation and Health Services
The Export-Import Bank of Japan has agreed to lend Egypt ¥14.7bn ($116mn) to help build the 300MW power plant at Assiut, some 300 kms. south of Cairo. The plant is due to be completed in June 1991.
