Libya and Malta Conclude Oil Trade Agreement
Libya has agreed to supply neighboring Malta with $38mn worth of petroleumproducts in 1989, according to an agreement signed in Valetta on 29 Octoberduring the visit of Mr. Omar Muntasir, Head of Libya's General People's Committee (Prime Minister). The accord provides for the supply of 16,500 tons ofLPG, 75,000 tons of fuel oil for industry, and 75.000 tons of fuel oil forDower stations.
