Saudi Actual Budget Surplus In 2008 Up 229%
Actual revenue in the 2008 Saudi budget rose by 71.3% over the previous year, while actual expenditure was up by 11.5%, according to preliminary data published by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) in its 45th Annual Report (2009).The actual surplus in 2008 rose 229.0% over the 2007 surplus, but in 2007 it fell 37% after rising 28.7% in 2006.
