Iran to Export 2mn Tons of Crude a Year to North Korea
Iran and North Korea have signed a series of technical and economic cooperation agreements under which Iran will export 2mn t/y (40,000 b/d) of crude oil to North Korea and will buy raw materials and metals in return. The agreements, signed during a visit to Tehran by a Korean delegation which ended on 5 December 1988, also cover cooperation in fishing, shipbuilding and port construction.
