Work starts on Expansion of Assiut Refinery
According to Egyptian Oil Minister Abd El-Hady Kandil, work will start this year on doubling the capacity of Nasr Petroleum Company's Assiut refinery in Upper Egypt from the current 50,000 b/d to 100,000 b/d. The expansion work is scheduled for completion in 36 months.
