OPEC PRODUCTION CAPACITY HAS FALLEN TO 25Mn B/D ACCORDING TO NEW STUDY
OPEC production capacity has undergone a major shift since the second oilshock. The lower oil prices have resulted in a significant decline in OPECproduction capacity through reduced investments, mothballing of facilities, andunwillingness of a number of countries to maintain higher capacities.
