Iran to Privatise Industries Soon
Some state-owned industrial units in Iran will be privatized in the"coming weeks", according to the Governor of Bank Melli (the centralbank), Mr. Majid Qassemi. Addressing an internal staff meeting on 1 February,Mr. Qassemi said that the shares will be offered for sale on the Tehran stockexchange.
