Brazil to Import 80,000 b/d of Iranian Crude
Brazil has agreed to import 80,000 b/d of Iranian crude in 1989 for which itwill pay 10% in cash and 90% in Brazilian goods, according to Mr. HamiltonAlbertazzi, the Vice President of the trading subsidiary of the state oil company Petrobras. Last year Petrobras contracted to take 60,000 b/d of Iraniancrude and to pay 25% in cash and 75% in products, but lifted only 45,000 b/d asa result of transport problems.
