Terms of Phillips and Norsk Hydro Concession Agreements
The main terms of two production-sharing concession agreements recentlysigned by Egypt with two consortiums headed by Phillips and Norsk Hydro foracreage in the Bir al-Nus and Ras Kanayes areas in the Western Desert havebecome available to MEES. The terms of these agreements, which are still to beapproved by the Egyptian People's Assembly (parliament), are summarized below:
