US Gives Jordan Sorghum Worth $27mn
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is to give$27mn worth of surplus sorghum grain to Jordan to be used as animal feed. TheJordanian Government will sell the 236,000 tons of yellow sorghum at about$120/ton, as a substitute for higher priced corn imports.
