Japanese Buyers Finalize 2Q Crude Contracts with Kuwait with 40-cent PriceIncrease, while Negotiations with Iran Continue
MEES learns that the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) and its Japanesecustomers have now finalized their crude oil supply contracts for the secondquarter. The Japanese buyers accepted Kuwait's demand for a 40-cent increase inthe 2Q price formula over lQ, while 2Q volumes remain unchanged from the firstquarter.
