Kuwait Hikes Crude and Products Supply to India
Kuwait and India haveconcluded a crude oil and products supply contract for the year 1989 worth$400mn. The deal represents a 33% increase over the $300mn supply contractsigned with Kuwait last year. Under the 1989 agreement, Kuwait's KPC will supplyIndia with 1mn tons of crude oil (compared to 700,000 tons in 1988) and 1.8mntons of refined products (compared to 1.2mn tons in the previous year).
