Fuel Oil Exports from Abadan Delayed
Fuel oil exports from the recently reopened Abadan refinery (MEES, 10 April)have been delayed by a fault in the pipeline between Abadan and the port ofBandar Mahshar 100 kms. to the east, and the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC)has informed three companies which signed agreements to lift some 120,000 tonseach of fuel oil between mid-April and the end of May that deliveries will notstart before the beginning of May.
