NSC to Order New Chemical Carriers
The National Shipping Company (NSC) of Saudi Arabia has announced plans toorder four new chemical carriers with a capacity of 25,000-30,000 tonsdeadweight each. NSC has already approached a number of yards in the Far Eastand Europe with a view to submiting tenders. According to NSC's chief executive,Mr. Muhammad al-Jarbu', an order for the new carriers may be placed with one ofthese yards in the next two or three months....
