UK Labor Party Advocates British Oil Output Cut to Support Prices
Mr. Frank Doran, a spokesman for the opposition Labor Party in Britain, saidthat a future Labor government would be ready to cut the country's crude oiloutput to try to achieve price stability in cooperation with other oilproducers. Mr. Doran told an oil industry conference in London on 17 May thatsuch talks would have an important psychological impact on world markets.
