USSR Increases Imports of Crude Oil in 1988
Soviet imports of crude oil in 1988 totaled 23.7mn tons (474,000 b/d), compared to 14mn tons in 1987 (280,000 b/d), or an increase of 69.29%, according to the May issue of the London-based monthly Eastern Bloc Energy.
