EGPC Invites Bids for North Sinai Acreage
According to the Cairo daily al-Ahram of 19 June, the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) has invited bids from international oil companies for oil and gas exploration rights in onshore and offshore North Sinai acreage which it has been planned to open to bidding for some time (MEES, 17 April). The deadline for the bids has been set for 31 March 1990.
