BADEA Lends $10mn to Burkina Faso
The Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) has agreed to lendBurkina Faso $10mn to help finance a 149-km. road linking the country withneighboring Benin. The loan constitutes 26% of the total cost of the project andis repayable over 18 years, including four years' grace, at 4% interest.
