New Bank Formed in Tunisia
The Tunisian Government has merged two state-controlled banks to form theBanque Nationale Agricole (BNA) with a capital of TD33mn ($34mn). The two mergedbanks are Banque Nationale de Tunisie, which was originally called BanqueNationale Agricole when it was founded in 1959, and Banque Nationale deDeveloppement Agricole (BNDA) which was set up in 1983.
