Petromin Refines Mahd al-Dhahab Gold in Australia
Saudi Arabia's Petromin and Australia's Gold Corp. have signed an agreementunder which the latter will treat and refine the output from Saudi Arabia's goldmine at Mahd al-Dhahab. The agreement is for an initial period of one yearrenewable. According to Mr. Rif'at Dashisha, Petromin's Deputy Governor forMineral Affairs, the first shipment of the unrefined gold was sent to Australiain February.
