Crescent Petroleum Awarded East Khalda Concession
Crescent Petroleum Company of Sharjah, UAE, has been awarded an 861-sq. km.oil and gas production-sharing concession at East Khalda in Egypt's WesternDesert, close to the Khalda producing concession (about 20,000 b/d) owned by theKhalda Petroleum Company (50% EGPC and 50% Texas International and Conoco).The agreement, signed on 30 July, requires the company to spend $17.1mn onexploration and to drill 16 wells...
