Taiwan Imports 145,000 b/d of Saudi Crude
Taiwan is currently importing some 145,000 b/d of crude oil from SaudiArabia, with 100,000 b/d lifted directly from the Saudi Government and theremainder from Mobil Oil and Caltex, according to a spokesman of the TaiwanEmbassy in Riyadh. In the first five months of 1989, Saudi Arabia's exports toTaiwan were worth $594mn while its imports from Taiwan were worth $251mn,leaving the Kingdom with a trade surplus...
