Japanese Petrochemical Companies to Import Saudi LPG
Four Japanese petrochemical firms are planning to import 350,000 tons/year ofLPG from Saudi Arabia in a bid to diversify the petrochemical feedstock forethylene production away from naphtha. Mitsubishi Petrochemical, MitsubishiChemical Industries and Mitsui Petrochemical Industries will each take 100,000tons, while Showa Denko will lift 50,000 tons, and one-year contracts arescheduled to be signed...
