ABC, GIB Lead New Pakistani Loan
Gulf International Bank (GIB) and Arab Banking Corporation (ABC), togetherwith Bank of Tokyo International, Chase Manhattan Asia and Chemical Asia arelead managing a $100mn five-year loan for the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Theloan has a two-year grace period and a 1% spread over Libor. It is understoodthat co-lead managers are being invited into the deal at $8mn apiece.
