AID FLOWS
BADEA Lends Botswana $5.1mn
The Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) has agreed to lendBotswana $6.1mn to finance road projects. The credit is repayable in 16 years,including a four-year grace period, and carries an annual interest rate of 5%.The loan was signed on 20 October by Mr. Muhammad Terbeche, member of BADEA'sexecutive committee and Mr. Baledgi Gaolathe, Permanent Secretary of theMinistry of Finance.
