Turkey Signs for 6mn Tons of Iranian Crude in 1988
Turkey has signed an agreement with Iran to purchase 6mn tons (120,000 b/d)of crude oil in 1988, according to Turkish Minister of State Kazim Oksay. Theagreement, signed in Tehran during a visit by Mr. Oksay which ended on 28October, also provides for Iran to import 28,000 tons a month of kerosene fromTurkey during 1988. This year Turkey is also importing 6mn tons of Iranian crude(MEES, 5 January).
