Iraq's Output Capacity to Reach 3mn b/d
Mr. Issam al-Chalabi, the Iraqi Oil Minister, told MEES last week that hiscountry is currently producing an average of 2.75mn b/d of crude oil and thatplans are underway to gradually increase output capacity to around 3mn b/d. Atthe same time, however, the Minister noted that Iraq is ready at the DecemberOPEC ministerial conference to agree to reduce production and accept an OPECproduction quota at parity with Iran...
