North Yemen Inaugurates First Crude Export Pipeline

North Yemen joined the league of oil exporters when it inaugurated on 9December its first crude oil export pipeline linking the Alif field in HuntOil's concession in the Marib-Jawf area to the Salif terminal at Ras 'Isa on theRed Sea. The Alif field was discovered by Hunt Oil in l984.
