Agip Signs First Agreement under New Hydrocarbons Law
The Algerian state oil group Sonatrach and Italy's Agip on 16 December signedthe first oil exploration and development agreement under the new hydrocarbonslaw adopted by Algeria in mid-1986 (for details, see MEES, 22 June 1987).
