Brazil and Iraq Sign $1.2bn Trade Protocol
Brazil and Iraq signed on 7 December a two-year $1.2bn trade protocol. Theagreement includes the import of cars (Volkswagen do Brasil), trucks and buses (ScaabScania do Brasil), steel pipes, agricultural equipment, construction materialand food. Iraq is to pay around half the cost of its imports in crude oil.
