Libya Offers Malta Crude Oil at "Favourable Rates"
Libya has agreed to offer Malta an unidentified amount of crude oil suppliesat "favorable rates," according to a communique issued in Tripoli on 6January following a visit by the Maltese Premier, Mr. Edward Fenech Adami.Maltese government sources indicated prior to the trip that Libya has agreed togrant Malta a 5% discount below official prices. In 1987, Libya agreed toprovide crude oil to Malta worth $60nn....
