IBRD Lends Jordan $40mn for Vocational Training
The World Bank has agreed to lend Jordan $40mn for a project that willconsolidate the country's efforts to improve the quality of educationalinstruction and facilities as well as to meet demand for skilled labor. Since1972, the World Bank has given loans totaling $113.2mn to six projects to assistJordan in the development of its educational and training system.
