QGPC Head Resigns Post
Shaikh Rashid ibn 'Uwaidah Al Thani has resigned as Managing Director ofthe Qatar General Petroleum Corporation (QGPC), a post which he has held sinceNovember 1985. Dr. Jaber al-Marri, Deputy Managing Director and Head of theNorth Field Gas Project, has been appointed as Acting Managing Director as of 23December 1987.
