The Middle East Situation
The continuing unrest in the occupied territories, and the consequent upsurgeof intensive international diplomatic activity over the issue, have finallystirred some signs of action from the US. The revived American initiative appeared however to take little account of politicaldevelopments since the CampDavid process a decade ago, or the Reagan peace plan six years ago, or indeed ofthe implications of the prolonged "uprising" itself....
