Sudan Receives First Shipment of Libyan Crude
On 5 February Sudan received a consignment of50,000 tons of Libyan crude, comprising the first shipment of a total of 600,000tons which Libya has agreed to provide under the terms of a soft-termlow-interest loan agreement concluded in February 1987. The agreement alsocovered a $75mn loan to Sudan.
