Japanese Imports of Iranian Crude Drop after US Boycott
According to figures from the Petroleum Association of Japan (PAJ), Japaneseimports of crude oil from Iran averaged some 231,200 b/d in 1987. The figuresshow that Japan imported 295,600 b/d in the first quarter, 203,300 b/d in 2Q,230,400 b/d in 3Q, and 196,700 b/d in 4Q.
