Egypt Signs New Oil and Gas Agreements with Britoil and Unocal
On 15 May Egypt signed two new oil and gas production-sharing agreementswith Britoil and Unocal. The two agreements, together with nine amendments andnew agreements with other companies, were approved by the Egyptian People'sAssembly (parliament) on 7 February (MEES, 29 February).
