US Attacks on Platforms Cost 50,000 b/d
Iran's Oil Minister, Mr. Gholamreza Aghazadeh, has said that Iran lost 50,000b/d of oil output as a result of the attacks by the US navy on productionplatforms at the Salman (Sassan) and Sirri oil fields last month (MEES, 25April). Mr. Aghazadeh told a press conference in Dubai on 24 May that Iran hadcompensated for the loss by increasing output from other oilfields.
