SABIC Sbareholders To Receive $93 In Dividends
The Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), which posted a record netincome of SRl,078mn ($287mn) in 1987 (MEES, 16 May), has decided to distributeSR350mn ($93.3mn) in dividends to its shareholders. SABIC in 1987 produced atotal of 8,537,000 tons of various products, up 12.0% from 7,622,000 tons in1986, and its product sales in 1987 rose 14.6% to 8,411,000 tons from 7,342,000tons the previous year.
