Establishment of Joint Investment Company
The North Yemeni Council of Ministers on 25 May approved the establishment ofa Yemeni-Libyan holding company capitalized at $50mn. The new venture, whichwill have an independent legal and financial corporate persona, is intended toFinance investments in the industry, agriculture, tourism and transportation"on the basis of sound economic and financial considerations."
